As part of the Year of Homecoming 2009, in partnership with Culture Sport Glasgow, artruist will be presenting "Inspired", a major exhibition celebrating the life and work of Robert Burns.

"Inspired" will be on display in the Old Reading Hall at The Mitchell Library, Glasgow, and will play an important part in the Homecoming Scotland celebrations for the 250th anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns. It opens on 4th April 2009 and runs until 20th September 2009.

The exhibition will feature around 50 contemporary works of art and several Burns relics. The contemporary pieces going on display as part of Inspired are primarily new unseen works. It is hoped that this exhibition will go some way towards increasing the public’s awareness of the extent of not only Burns’ talent, but also how his words still have the power to both touch and influence others throughout the world.
